MDR is also effective in removing calcium buildups from tiles as well as most granite. MDR is ideal for use in tile bathrooms and certain stone pool areas. It dissolves mineral deposits and makes glazed tile surfaces look shiny and new. This is a phosphoric acid-based product and therefore will etch (burn) marble, travertine, limestone, and other sensitive natural stones.
