| TILE GLOW® #1
TILE GLOW® #1 is a natural, non wax, abrasive compound
for the thorough cleaning and honing of Ceramic, Porcelain and Quarry
Tiles.
Tile Glow® #1 is used to deep clean and
hone (smooth) old and/or very worn tiles. It prepares the surface for
polishing with TILE GLOW® #2.
To apply Tile Glow® #1, you need:
- Tile Glow® #1
- Floor buffer (175 to 350 RPM). Water tank and splash
guard optional.
- One natural hair pad, one white buffing pad. Note:
Heavier buffer will give you a quicker and better polish. We recommend
the 13", 1.5 HP STONEWORKS buffer. Optimum weight of 135 lbs.
- Wet vacuum clean, mop, bucket, wringer, floor squeegee.
Directions
Note: The tile and baseboards should be stripped of all waxes or sealer
and neutralized.
- Cover baseboard, carpet, etc., with protective
plastic and/or tape.
- If the grout is very dirty, scrub the grout and
tile with our MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER (MDR) and a scrubbing brush. Wet
vacuum and rinse.
- Wet the tile surface. Add a handful of Tile
Glow #1® on the wet area (5oz./25 Sq. Ft.)
- Buff the Tile Glow® #1 slurry with a
natural hair pad for about 10 minutes per 25 Sq. Ft. For very old or
very dirty floors, you can scrub the floor and grout with Tile Glow
#1® and a scrubbing brush (not a stripping brush)
- Squeegee the Tile Glow® #1 slurry to
the adjacent area and repeat process. Add Tile Glow® #1 and water
as needed.
- Vacuum-dry the Tile Glow® #1 mixture.
Wet again the honed area and buff again with the same pad without adding
more Tile Glow® #1 to loosen up residue.
- Vacuum-dry thoroughly, damp mop and let dry.
- Polish the tile with TILE GLOW® #2. See Tile
Glow #2® instruction sheet.
Note: Tile Glow® #1 is available in white,
gray or black to suit grout colors.

PRECAUTION: The use of gloves and protective clothing
is recommended when using Tile Glow® #1.
WARNING: Avoid contact with skin, eyes, clothes.
In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water and call Physician. Do
not swallow. Keep out of children's reach.
